For lovers of the outdoors, hiking and fishing, biking and tubing, with skiing and golf just over the next hill, Cold Spring Lodge has been a rustic yet comfy retreat in the Catskills for over a century. Stargazing beside a bonfire or cozy inside a log cabin in front of your own wood-burning fireplace, pets are always welcome.  Majestic Esopus Creek forever flowing through our backyard and a deep pool open in summer, our convenient location to nearby attractions like Belleayre Mountain Ski Center and Woodstock keeps guests coming back.

A little over 100 miles from NYC (2 1/2 hours, traffic permitting) Cold Spring Lodge is a year-round Catskill Mountain lodge with full cabins set in a lovely mountain valley on a well-maintained, quiet and secluded country road.  The Lodge provides visitors with the beautiful surroundings, “big sky” stars at night, and easy access to recreational and family activities. Belleayre Mountain Ski Center, the second largest ski center in the Catskills, is just seven miles away, offering snowboarding, downhill and cross-country skiing in the winter and a full series of concerts in the summer.  Our 40 acres are surrounded by the Catskill Forest Preserve, offering unique access to hundreds of miles of hiking trails.  Admittedly, many of our guests come to Cold Spring Lodge to do nothing at all, relaxing and enjoying a brief respite from the city.

Our Lodge offers two kinds of cozy accommodations: cabins with real wood burning fireplaces in individual two and three bedroom efficiency cottage, as well as double-bed bedrooms in our main building. The cabins come complete with full kitchens, living rooms with television, DVD players, and a full baths, with linens, towels, cooking utensils, fire logs and WIFI all included.
